change

Do you resist change? When I was younger I loved change. Let me re-phrase, I liked good change; change that benefited me. As I grow older I have learned that change, no matter if it is perceived good or bad, is necessary. Not just every once in a blue moon change, but consistent and constant change. In fact, don't even think of it in the term of "change", but think of it as growth. Growth is always a byproduct of living, of health. If there is no growth, then there is dying or decaying.

The next time change comes your way, think of this:

Rom 5:3-5
3 We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they are good for us — they help us learn to endure. 4 And endurance develops strength of character in us, and character strengthens our confident expectation of salvation. 5 And this expectation will not disappoint us. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.
